SUMMARY: Spectrum AMT, Inc. is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our respected company in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is responsible for supporting multiple PWBA and Cable Assembly programs to workmanship standards for high reliability electronic hardware. A candidate can expect to be involved in the electronic soldering of PWBA and/or precise mechanical assembly as well as various other support/technical functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understanding the importance and adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge policies and procedures)
• Adhere to the SAMT (QSM) ISO 9001:2015 quality policies and procedures
• Understand the importance of continuous improvement including corrective/preventive action
• Ability to understand assembly drawings, work instructions and procedures
• Dexterity to work under a microscope with tweezers and solder iron
• Understand the importance of being on time and working with others in a professional atmosphere
• Complete and maintain time cards through time-keeping system
• Assist with prep-work supporting cable and board builds
• Operate instruments, track test results, and troubleshoot when issues arise
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Currently have or ability to obtain IPC J-STD-001 and WHMA-A-610 certifications for Circuit Card Assemblies and WHMA-A-620 certification for cable assemblies.
