Our Story

        Spectrum Laser & Technologies, Inc. (Dba: Spectrum AMT) was founded in 1997 by Jeff Riggs and Thomas Radebaugh. The company provided product design, verification and manufacturing of a therapeutic laser device designed for soft tissue repair for a Texas based medical device company. Through relationships with other entrepreneurs and business owners, along the Front Range looking for an agile and quality contract manufacturer, allowed for growth and opportunities to help our customers reduce their design-to-market product cycle.

From its founding, Spectrum has grown to a full-service Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) plant currently offering Engineering Development and New Product Introduction Support. Quick-Turn, Prototypes to Production, Process and Test Engineering, Hi Rel Military & Spaceflight Soldering, Staking, Bonding, & Conformal Coating, Satellite Bus/Instrument Harnessing, Cable & Harness Assembly, Unit/Box Integration, Environmental Stress Screening, Material Procurement & Inventory Control, and Advanced Packaging.

Jeff Riggs

Mr. Riggs, prior to founding Spectrum, worked in the process manufacturing, new product development, and manufacturing and executive management positions for companies like TRW, ETA Technologies, Linkabit Corp, and General Dynamics for over 50 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and Master in Business Administration from National University in San Diego, CA.

Jeff and his wife Pat of 45 years, enjoy the peaceful Colorado Rocky Mountains and beautiful beaches of South West Florida, especially when spending time with their two kids and five grandchildren.
