Our Quality System has been ISO registered since 1999. We are very proactive in generating Corrective-Preventative Action Reports to improve processes and procedures.
Training is key to continued success and is emphasized at the highest level of management.
For the first 20 years, staff was trained in the four NASA Workmanship Standards, NASA-STD-8739.1/2/3/4. Since two have been discontinued, SPECTRUM now maintains in-house certified instructors for the following Workmanship Standards:
- NASA-STD-8739.1 Polymerics
- ANSI/IPC-J-STD-001 with Space Addendum, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
- IPC-WHMA-A-620 with Space Addendum, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
SPECTRUM has a Calibration System compliant to ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 and MIL-STD-45662A. Our ESD Program complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014 and MIL-STD-1686.
Fishbowl MRPS is used to control material throughout the purchasing, receiving, and production processes. Material traceability is provided for our military and aerospace customers. SPECTRUM is ITAR Registered.
SPECTRUM participates in GIDEP for failure experience data, non-conforming parts notifications, and urgent data requests.
