several sectors such as Aerospace, Spaceflight, the Department of Defense, Medical Devices,
Enterprise and Industrial.

SUMMARY:
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company seeking an experienced Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) to join our finance team. Our company operates in the medical, A/R,
manufacturing environment providing new technology to the A/R and medical profession. As we
continue to expand, we are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable individual to
oversee our financial reporting, ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles (GAAP), and lead the implementation of NetSuite accounting software.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports.
  • Provide variance analysis and insights to management for decision-making purposes.

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.

NetSuite Implementation:

  • Lead the implementation of NetSuite accounting software.
  • Customize and configure NetSuite to meet the company’s accounting and reporting needs.
  • Train finance team members on the effective use of NetSuite modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the NetSuite system.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Work with Operation’s Management to develop and implement work flow best practices
    in keeping with objectives of the Company.
  • Implement best practices for financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems and workflows.

Financial Analysis

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data analysis.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software implementation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
