SUMMARY: Spectrum AMT, Inc. is seeking a motivated IT/IS Engineer to join our respected company in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is responsible for supporting activities and operations in regards to information security, telecommunications and cybersecurity; oversees the planning and execution of systems/security projects to protect the confidentiality and integrity of information and maintain the technical facilities that aid in this protection as well as various other support/technical functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

IT/IS:

  • Maintain Spectrum IT Server System ensuring proper & efficient operation – System Administration duties – Monitor back-ups and verify functionality.
  • Maintain Key Pass.
  • Complete and maintain procedure for our current Network Video Recorder.
  • Manage and monitoring of SIEM System, PC virus control, provide corrective/preventative action and reporting as required.
  • Complete/Transition Vulnerability mitigation planner program.
  • Managing Windows Domains – Active Directory, DNS, DHCO.
  • Managing Network Equipment: Firewalls, WAPs, Switches (Network Architectural Diagram established).
  • Establish virtual (Zoom and Microsoft Teams) meeting rooms for use in Lobby and Conference Rooms.
  • Supporting Windows 10 desktops and business, program and manufacturing users (looks for licensing options for site).
  • Manage access & permissions and IT inventory, maintain proper tracking of assets.
  • Assure proper Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) status and capacity – Actively working 7.24.23
  • Continually update and review backup contingency plan.
  • Create, update and manage procedures and work instructions.

Facility Security/Telecommunications:

  • Support Advanced Alarm system interface and facility zone drawing.
  • Provide phone, high-speed internet (transitioning to Comcast business) and voice mail system (Panasonic) support.
  • Review and provide plan for Site System Security (Lorex camera system).
  • Maintain Lenox employee access codes and system.
  • Control front gate access codes/system and exterior perimeter control (BW Systems) including signage.
  • Support and maintain biometric locks on doors.
  • Control and update Master Access Control Listing on Management Server.

CMMC and Cybersecurity:

  • Lead NIST 800-171 Security System Plan (SSP) and for CMMC Certification Level 2.
  • Start to review and provide recommendations for needed multi-factor authentication and patch management system for site.
  • Provide customer Cybersecurity Compliance Planning & SSP (maintain binder).
  • Define, create and execute cybersecurity phishing and penetration requirements.
  • Maintain CUI documentation control.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Windows server 2012 – 2019, Windows 10 and legacy platforms (NT, XP, 7).
  • Exchange 2016 Administration, Cisco firewalls & switching.
  • VMWare, ESet.
  • Experience plus: Security+, Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Microsoft (MCA, MSCE).
