JOB TITLE: Production Control Specialist

SUMMARY:
Spectrum AMT is seeking a motivated Production Controller to join the Manufacturing Team at Spectrum AMT in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position is responsible for planning and organizing deliverables while ensuring all customer delivery dates are met or improved while reporting directly to the Director of Manufacturing
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with company objectives.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Coordinate and direct production teams to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials and equipment to avoid shortages.
• Coordinate and manage production staff schedules and resources.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs.
• Analyze production data and recommend improvements.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
• Ensure production is cost-effective and within budget.
• Provide reports on production operations and status to senior management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong understanding of production planning and quality control principles.
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple tasks, identify production issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in performing job duties.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines to ensure production schedules are maintained.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the industry.
• Leadership skills to manage and motivate the production team
• Bachelors in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or relevant field from ABET accredited university
• Proven work experience as a Production Controller, Production Planner, or similar role.
• Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
• Experience working with an MRP (Manufacturing resource planning) system.
• Excellent knowledge of production software.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to effectively manage projects independently on assigned accounts.
• Experience working with interdepartmental teams at all levels of management to accomplish goals.
• Able to work effectively within a matrix organization.
• ISO 9001 2015 or AS9100 Standards preferred
